Surnames: Dillard, Dildine, Hutchings
Family history holds that Thomas Dillard (married to Martha Webb), Johnathon Dildine (born 1763 in VA), and Capt. "Charles" Christopher Hutchings (under Col. John Donelson) served in the Rev. War. Capt. Hutchings and his brother, Thomas, who married a Donelson daughter, as did Andrew Jackson, left after the Battle of Yorktown, and came to Tennessee, supposedly. Anyone know or have documentation? Thanks.

Yes, the Hutchings went to Davidson TN. Lemuel Hutchings was the son of Thomas or Thomas' brother James. Lemuel's mother was Catherine. Lemuel's son, Alex Donelson Hutchings, moved to Marshall Co. MS, where he married and then moved to TX.
