Would appreciate an obituary lookup in the Idaho State Journal for 22 June 1901. Phil PRATT was listed in the Idaho County Free Press 13 June 1901 as being deceased in his cabin near Blue Jacket Mine above Kirkwood. He was also listed in the Idaho County "News". He was buried near his cabin, would land records have been recorded at that time?

Free Press: 13th JUN 1901

Phil PRATT, an old miner and prospector, was found dead in his cabin near the Blue Jacket last week by some cowboys who were passing. When found, a candle was burning in his room and the body was still warm. He was buried near his cabin.

Thanks for taking the time to look and respond. I found him in the Free Press as you did and also in the Idaho County News, same death notice. I found an index for the Idaho State Journal that showed he had an obit in there on 22 June 1901. I am hoping that this might have some small clue so that I can prove his relationship to my 2gr grandfather. Once again, thanks for your time.
