What kind of information are you looking for. I have thousands of records on both of these families. A lot of it was published in Vol. 2 of the Bienville Parish History. I would be glad to share any information that you are willing to share the same.

Hello, could not pass this up. I was working on a SMITH FAMILY from JACKSON CO. FLA. ( some of it into POLK CO. & maybe in LIBERTY CO. TX. ) Found an add to see BRADLEY CO. ARK. , BIENVILLE or CLAIBORNE PARISH LA. Here I found your COOK & NELSON LINE. All this after muck work wil al tie back into the family of one HENRY O'NEAL of early WASHINGTON CO. & JACKSON CO. FLA.
Listed in early records are JOHN W. COOK , THOMAS SMITH , HENRY O'NEAL & CATHERINE NELSON all of WASHINGTO CO. FLA. early. IF any of this will fit please get back with me ( see my post on all.) Thank you for your time.

My husband is a direct descendant of John W. COOK b. 1816 GA and lived in Florida.
Can you tell me if the COOK mentioned in the Bienville Parish History is related to John W. COOK of Florida. I have had no connection to LA that I can recall.
Tks
