I have a date/calendar journal that I would like to return to a family member. The journal belonged to Norma Lucille (BRIGGS) LAUGHTON. She was born 1909 in Houlton, Aroostook Co., ME to Thomas H. and Elizabeth (WIGGINS) BRIGGS. She married John Nelson LAUGHTON in 1938. He was the son of John S. and Mary E. (MERRILL) LAUGHTON.

The journal has basic information on the following families: LAUGHTON, BRIGGS, MERRILL, EATON, JEWETT, KIRKPATRICK, BRITTEN, BULL, and PYNE.

The families are from Aroostook County, ME and York Co., New Brunswick, Canada.

Stumbled upon this by accident but I have Eatons, and Laughton's in my family tree. I have Merrill relatives in Maine as well (or did) My grandfather was Marshall Eaton Merrill who's father was Rufus Merrill. WE were rumored to have Scottish blood in the family as well. I am willing to dig a bit to see what I can find.
