Your Mother and I went to school together. My daughter is married to Josh Baltzell, Jennifer's son. I don't have any information on your grandfather other than an approximate birthdate of 1924. I do have information on Gerald and Opal, but it get's pretty sketchy after that. I've been working off and on with this since my grandson Jackson Ray Baltzell was born August 6, 2007. We are in pemberville ohio. My grandfather married Bertha Fletcher and they had my mom. Grandpa was born jan 20. 1900. Someone a long time ago gave my mom a packet full of papers that traced the Baltzell name. I will try to find it. I can try to get some info for you from my mom. just let me know what you want answered. I remember josh when he was a baby and my grandma watched us both. That was a long time ago. i miss that side of my family. After grandpa died when i was in 6th grade, everyone went there seperate ways. I miss uncle ray and arleen. Could you tell them i said hi. I may have some info for you. My mother is a Baltzell out of Lincoln Nebraska and her grandfather was from Fairfield Iowa. I have been doing some research into the Baltzell family history and I have a book that goes back as far as the 1600's with the earliest or first generation being Benedict Baltzell. There was only 150 copies printed in 1976. I would be glad to share it with you. My name is in it and I would guess since your name is Baltzell you should be too.
