I have 1 sister Carol Lynn born in 1957. I was born in '58. Can you help me? Thanks.

I think we may be first cousins. My father John Bernard (Jack) Kaelin had a brother Charles Donald (they called him Donald) who died in 1960. Their parents names were August and Margaret Kaelin. At the time of Donald's death we were all living in Dumont NJ. Any of this ring a bell?

Hi. I finally figured this out! I have a hard time getting around this computer! I am trying though.
Thank you for responding. I have been wondering about my family for so long, especially since all of my mom's brothers and sisters died very young. Carol and I don't see many cousins either. Barbara, my cousin I see every now and then, but the rest of the cousin's have gone their own way, etc., and I have always wondered about the Kaelin's. I saw a wedding clip from a newspaper for John Kaelin, that must be you, and tried to locate you. I believe my cousin Susan Andalora tried too, in the Bergenfield area. (Without success)
I thank you so much for letting me meet you! Love, Debbie

Thanks again. I posted a message to your dad, Jack, I believe. It is so nice to meet you both. It has been many years since I have searched, like I said, and I am blessed to have you contact me. I wondered for so many years about my dad, and always asked questions as a child, teen, young adult, etc., and on her dying bed, my mom was going to talk to us and she died! I always wondered what kind of person he was, he is so handsome in the pictures. I even have a few 8mm movies of him! My son Tommy resembles him at times, but I always wondered. I thank you for sharing with me. Love, Debbie

Dear Deborah,

My maiden name is Kaelin, I was born in NJ as was my father and grandfather and wonder if our families are somehow connected. Also, I have a cousin Susan (maiden name Hajny) who I know married a chap with an Italian surname and, when last we were in touch, she also lived in NJ. I live in London now. My father was John Joseph Kaelin (born 1907) and the family all lived in Bergen County. My father's sisters were: Florence, Margaret, Ruth, Evelyn and Jean and his brother was Joseph. My grandfather was Joseph Kaelin, married to Mary. It would be nice to hear from you. Many thanks. Marilyn
