US Military Registers, Marines - Birthdate Question

I have a strange date for a birthdate. It has 17 month 00 day 00 year. Can anyone tell me how to handle this?

It seems plausible for the man to have been born in 1900, but the rest not so much.

You could conceivably type the number 17 in the month field and override it, or you could blank it. There wont be many of them so whatever you do wont hurt your accuracy much.

I lean toward blanking it because of the keying standards.

Thanks for the help Paul. Interesting knowing more about him. I had already sent it on with blank for everything except the year, which I input as 00. Guess we were both thinking the same way. Charlotte
