Willing to discuss the family of George S. Gray who married Rachel Wilson 1828 in Chester, PA. Children were Joseph b 1832, Mary b. 1835, Benjamin b. 1838, Rachel b. 1839, Sarah Jane b. 1844, Edward Balwin b. 1845 & Easter or Esther b. 1846. Most lived in Pittsburgh, PA. nancy

Hi,
In your research of your Gray family in Pittburgh by any chance have you ever come accross or heard of George Ricther Gray and Fanny Amber Carson ? They were my g-grandparents and they all lived in Pittsburgh and raised their kids there and they died there as well. Most are buried in Mt. Royal Cem.

Hi,
Yes I do he was born in Wheeling WVA 1868, died in Pittsburgh PA 1932. I don't have the other parts of dates tho. He has been a hard one for me and his middle name is unique. One of his sons was a Jr. Thanks for replying

I wonder if your Grays are related to Baldwin Gray, born in 1810 in Chester County, Pa. He surfaced in Sewickley, Pa., in the 1840 census. His wife's name was Mary.

hello I have a Baldwin Gray in my family the same one that you have found 1810. He married Mary Atkens.
they had many children but one was Hannam gray the name is spelled Hannam because I have his sword with his name on it.1835 his 1st wife was K or Catherine Lyon 1833 she died young but had there 2 girls Marianne ,Molly,Marianne was called Hattie somtimes?2nd wife Bridget shacket she got his civil war pension. he was a shoe maker.as BaldwinGray or his name is Bawdlin??
Marianne married Charles Avory they had 1 daughter Martha Avery
Martha married Robert Allen, Pitts Penns had 7 children Marianne lived with them all of Martha married life.
moved to LA in the 1815 my mother is one of these children.

George, Caleb, Wesley, Hannum, Sarah & Thomas. I also have that he was a shoemaker. He died in Sewickley. Maybe we should discuss? Nancy
