According to Ron Head: Jesse WARREN was born around 1747 and resided in
Dinwiddie Co., Virginia for forty-four years before moving to Georgia
(around 1791). He was a member of the Methodist Church for twenty years
before his death in Hancock Co., GA on 10 February 1827. His grave in the
Harper Cemetery is marked as that of a Revolutionary Soldier.

Jesse's wife Elizabeth _________ was born in Dinwiddie Co., Virginia around
1751 and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1774. She died in Putnam
Co., GA on 2 July 1838 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph JOHNSON.

I'm also researching Jesse Warren Sr. I'm descended through his grandson Jesse T.S. Warren. I'm curious as to where you got the info on them being members of the methodist church. You see, me and my family are Methodist as well and the possibility that we have been Methodist since its formation is really exciting.
