My aunt married a Peter Bieniek from Bowerville, MN. I am helping my cousin research his father's side of the family and have lots of Bieniek information. Sally

I am researching Nicolas Bieniek, bp. Sep. 4, 1836 at Dombrowka Dolna near Falkowitz, Opole, Poland. He married Elisabeth JENDRO at Falkowitz on Sept. 29, 1862. They emigrated to Minnesota with 5 of their 15 children in 1872. They first lived in Stearns County but later made their home at Two Rivers Twp. (Bowlus), Morrison Co., MN.

Several of Nicolas' nephews later emigrated to Minnesota; John, b. Mar. 6, 1857 came in 1881, Vincent, b. Apr. 1, 1852 came in 1882 and Ignatius, b. Jan. 30, 1854 came in 1884.

I have quite a bit on the ancestry and collateral lines of the Bieniek family, so please feel free to contact me. I'd love to exchange information.

I am the great-granddaughter of Hedwig Bieniek Wallak. If you have more information please contact me as I am compiling a family tree. I will be very happy to share the information that we have already. Thank you. Most of my family is also from Stearns and Morrison. Could it be the same?

Hi Cynthia:
Noted that your Wallak ancestors are from MN. Are you related to a Frances Jean Wallak? She was my ex-husband's first wife, back in the mid '70's.
Was going through all my family paperwork this morning, trying to get "genealogically organized" for the year, and came across his divorce papers. Thought I'd best add Frances to my family tree, in case my daughter ever gets interested in this stuff, and wants to know who her father's first wife was. She has no contact with him (hasn't for over 12 yrs, and has no desire) but may eventually want to know about his side of things.
