I am researching the Eberly family who lived in Ohio but not sure where they came from. My grandfather was born in 1875 and married to Caroline Elizabeth Uhl born in 1876 in Lakeside, Ohio. They had 7 children named Nettie, Louise, Josephine, Wilda, Elmer, Raymond and my mother Ruth. Andrew's father was Daniel Eberly born 1819 in Hessen Darmstadt, Germany and was married to Dorethea Manz, born in 1839. They had 5 chilren named Mary, Lewis, Daniel, Andrew and Adolph. This is a far as I have gotten and would like to exchange information with anyone with similar interest. Thanks, John.

Connie,
The Eberly family I am related to were born or immigrated to the area of Sandusky, Ohio, located to the west of Cleveland. My mother and her siblings were born in Lakeside, Ohio which is located to the west of Sandusky. I am not sure were Monroeville is in relationship.

John, monroeville is about 10 to 12 miles south and east of sandusky. My great-grandfather's name was conrad. My dad informed me that he thinks that my great-grandfather started off in Fremont and move later to monroeville. I don't know the names of the sisters he married but he had 8 kids between the two. My grandfather's name was Frank. When I find out more I will post it for u. Hope some of this helps.

John, I am also looking for information on an Ohio Eberly from Williams county. She is my Great Grandmother whose maiden name was Suter, don't know her first name. She bore my grandfather out of wedlock in Jan 1875, His name is Frank Suter. She later married an Eberly (first name unknown)around 1885. They had at least two children, Alwilda (married Harvey Hollstein in 1901) and Harold Eberly. Any info you may have regarding her would be greatly appreciated.
