I am a direct descendent of Francis Kassing
and I have been doing a little amateur work
on the family off and on for a couple of
years. The only thing I can tell you is that
family lore and Census Records agree, it was
Germany ("Hanover" in the census). I believe
that the first Kassing entered the US in 1838
and settled in Morehouseville, Hamilton County.

I would be interested to learn about your
connection to the Kasing family.
and can tell you more when I get back to my
home in Virginia.

Hello, I am Arno Kassing, living in the Netherlands, and try to find my ancestries.
5 Generations ago, there was Jan Kassing, who was born in Stadtlohn in Germany.
I don't know or he had brothers and sisters.
I'm still searching for that.
I think that somebody in the family is emigrated to America.
When I have more information, I will send it to you
My addres is A. Kassing, Maisgeelstraat 15, 1339 em Almere in the Netherlands.
Please, when you have more information about our familytree, will you send it to me.

With regards,

Arno Kassing
