According to my mother's DAR records, Frederick Spees, born in Germany and immigrated to US, married Eliabeth Mozier, who was born in Lancaster County, PA. in 1796 they moved to Territory of Kentucky in Mason County close to Maysville. They had 6 sons and 2 daughters. Christon, George, Fredrick, Henry, Daniel, William, Mary, Rachel. The are my gggggrandparents. I have more info on the Spees Family, but go no further back on the Mozier side. Your information was helpful!

Thanks for the note. You have Elizabeth's birthday much later that the abay 1765 that I have. The children match. I have
Christian b 1786 George b 1788 Frederick b 1790 Harry b 1797 Daniel b 1799 William b 1805 Mary b 1811 and Rachel b 1813. Do you have dates for the children? I have Michael Moser b abt 1739 and his wife Mary b abt 1743
both in Lancaster, Pa. and married abt 1764. I wonder why the birth dates on Elizabeth are so apart?

Elizabeth Fredrick

The date of 1796 represents the year in which they moved to Mason County...not her birth year. Sorry for the confusion. I have contacted my mother (Mary Spees Dalton) to see if she has other records on Elizabeth and Fredrick. I'll let you know!

I trued to contact you a while back. My mother is a Spees.
I also have a copy of the document you mentioned. Family members have been in Schwebda, Germany and have new information on Friedrich. He was captured at the battle of Yorktown, sent to a prison camp and escaped during another transfer. He did not fight with Washington. I can give you more if you ccontact me at wmslnord@cfl.rr.com.
