Kathy, I have a fair amount of data regarding George Reighley, son of George Reighley, who married Christina Routsen. There are at least seven children, Wilson S., Andrew J., George W., Margaret J., Mary A., Aldora E., and William E. L. I don't know when the T was inserted into the surname. Member of the Wooster Guards, listed as age 30 and a resident of Chippewa, Wayne, Ohio, in 1846. Wooster Guards became Captain Moore's Company which became Company "E", 3rd Ohio Infantry. He was First Sergeant when he was mustered out, 19 Jun 1847 at New Orleans. He also was a Sergeant in Company "K" of the 4th Wisconsin Infantry during the Civil War. The family data is taken from his pension file located in the National Archives. His pension application was number 424395 and his certificate was number 777884. The widow's application was 622984, and certificate, 480058.
