Hi Brett,
Thanks for writing back. I suspecy your branch of Vigrass is from Paul Vigrass and Martha Davies who came to Canada in 1873 with their 6 sons-Kempson ( 1861), Paul (1865(, Howard (1867), Arthur (1869), William Henry (1871) and Ernest(1872).
Paul and Martha had 2 girls born in St. Catharines-Martha May(1874) and Mary Edith (1877). The family moved to the U.S.A. in 1894. We find Kempson, Ernert and William in Tonawanda, N.Y.
Can you ask your grandpa which is your line?
Brett, I have a 14 year old daughter and she is not at all really interested in this stuff but does enjoy the family reunion every 2 years. Are you interested in family history or were you just surfin' the net. In either case, I am glad you you got in touch and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Meg
