My GG-grandfather John Oliver Weese was in Arkansas in 1880. The census taker spelled the name Weace. I have found several variations, but I think some of these families may be kin. My family moved into Kansas,Missouri, and Arkansas after the civil war it seems.

Surnames: Weese
Hi,
I've been searching for any information on Weese's or Weis'
in Tennessee. My great grandfather was Thomas Weese/Weis
and his father was Michael Weese/Weis married to Viney. Thomas had sisters, Nancy and America Jane, and a brother, Robert, there could be more. I have Michael and Viney Weese in Hamilton County, Soddy, Tn. on the 1860 census. Please, Please help if you can with more information.

Thanks very much,
Carmen

Yes, I'm not sure about your civil war posting, but I was wondering if we were related in anyway. I live in Illinois my dad is Chuck Cebuhar and my grandma is Betty Cebuhar. If any of this rings a bell then just send me an email.
