When I try to install the gensmart download (GenSmarts21143TrialSetup.exe) my norton says it has a virus (backdoor.irc.bot) has anyone else had any problems with it?

I've not had any problems or error messages when dealing with GenSmarts, and over the last 4 months, I've had to do 2 new installs of and reinstall 3 times (due to changing around my home office/new computers/reformatting drives -- all of which had nothing to do with RM). And I've been using GenSmarts for several years now and never once had a problem with it.

If you do want to check further, though, I'd suggest contacting the GenSmarts people directly. They're quick to reply to customers, and they also have a GenSmarts Support Message Board.

I hope you're able to resolve the problem. I love GenSmarts, and think it's one of the best programs created to help genealogists, and to work with about any genealogy software out there. Those guys are geniuses!

So, good luck and let us know if you still need help, ok??
