My Grand Father JOSEPH (NECAS) Nechas was born 3 February 1896 in either Teleci or Puste Rybne Czechoslovakia,or in that area. He came to America in 1909, His father Joseph Necas was born 3 February 1871 in Teleci # 81 Czechoslovakia,He died in 1909 on the ship coming to America, his mother Josefa (Josephine) Karasek was probably born in Puste Rybne,she died 10 May 1952 in Eden Prairie, Minnesota,USA. Her parents were Jozef Karasek and Josefa Sabart(Ova)b: 22 July 1874 in Pusta rybne # 60, Josef Necas parents were Frantisek Necas and Rosene Filipi, she was born 3 February 1871 in Teleci # 81, Czechoslovakia My Grand Mother Emma Petrash, was born 10 June 1897, probably in Pusta Rybna, Policka, Cechy. Her mother died the day before my grand mother came to America, in 1909 her father died when she was young and her mother remarried, her mothers 1st name was Jenny. That is all I have on my Grand Mother.I was wondering if someone could tell me where to check on records of these people or if you have any information on them. Thank You

Hi There,

I am a descendant of Frantisek Filipi who was born in Teleci. Frantisek, his wife Anna Jonas and three children (Josef, Frank, and Adolph) immigrated in 1881 to Howells near Clarkson, Colfax County, Nebraska. There could be a possible connection with you. I have extensive research on this family. It is my understanding that the Filipi's were brought from Italy for the construction of a famous castle in Litmysl, Bohemia during the Renaissance period. They were tinsmiths. Two brothers by the name Filipi. I have more on this if interested. I am currently trying to find info on my generation of Filipi's in Bohemia. The Generation that lived and died in Bohemia. But I have not hit a lead yet.

I have found that I have Filipi ancestors from Teleci.
Anna Filipi, born October 2, 1768 from Teleci #10 married Vaclav Fajmon from Teleci #77 sometime before 1800.
Katerina Filipi from Teleci #79 married Vaclav Lukas from Teleci #139 probably before 1807.
My greatgrandmother was Anna Fajmonova, grandaughter of this Vaclav Fajmon and daugher of Josef Fajmon and Anna Dostalova from Teleci 121.
