I came across this site by accident. My name is Jim Bouffard. My parents are Craig and Tammy Bouffard. My Grandparents are Arthur R. Bouffard (deceased) and Ruth C. Boufffard of Bushnell, Florida. My parents and grandparents are originally from Conneticut. I am in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. I was just wondering if we were related somehow. Its great to know there are so many Bouffard's in the world. I always thought our name was sorta unique.

Hi Jim
I have a brother Jim, and I may be able to help you if you're looking for ancestors. I have a Bouffard database with over 20,000 people in it, but not a Craig or Tammy that fit. If you knew your grandmother's maiden name, or your great-grandparent's names, we might be able to go further.

You're so right!! I knew I had relatives that had moved from Canada to the U.S., but didn't realize there were so many. My parents didn't ever tell us much about our "Bouffard" relatives. So, I'm hoping that you're one of them. Please contact me at my e-mail address above so we can discuss further. Yes, I have a nephew Bouffard, who is in the military as well.

I didn't realize we had a Jim Bouffard either. I'm a Bouffard and there are a family of Bouffards in the South. Yes, I would definitely like to see that database of Bouffards. Our parents didn't tell us much about the Bouffards from Canada that came to the U.S. I'd appreciate it if you could send that database to my e-mail listed above and I can pass it along to my other family members. I have 2 brothers named Marc and Joe.

Hello Tom B!
I also came across this site trying to trace my relatives here in the US. My grandmother told me my father's great grandfather originally came from Portugal. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and we are the only Bouffard's in that side of Asia!
Thanks!

Hello Jim, I too am researching my grandmother's (Flora Bouffard) from Canada. She married Raymond Martell sometime in the 1930's. Is it possible for you to send me any info you have on the Bouffards to my email address?
