I'm looking for information on a Patrick Farrell and Bridget Battels. Married, both from Ireland. I believe they had at least 1 daughter - Nellie Farrell who married George McCannon. I'm having trouble locating them in census but I believe they are in the 1880 census in Underhill, Chittenden, VT.
Wondered if they were part of your Farrell family. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Mary

I just posted an inquiry regarding information on the Farrell ancestry as my grandfather's half-sister, Ellen Farrell Girouard, was born in 1861 in West Rutland Vermont to Mary Ann Murphy and Matthew Farrell. Her brothers, John and Patrick, were also born in Vermont before the family traveled to the Perth settlement in Ontario Canada and finally settled outside Ottawa in Pakenham where son, Matthew, was born. Mary Ann's husband, Matthew Farrell, ws thrown from a horse and died shortly afterward. She then married my great-grandfather and had two more children. According to Ellen's daughter two of the Farrell brothers traveled to Ontario, one being Matthew but don't know the name of the other one. Would love to have any ancestry that would be available.
