Charles E. VanAntwerp
Charles E. VanAntwerp, 60, a veteran of World War I, died last night in the Veterans’ Hospital, Batavia, after a lingering illness. Born in Potter county, Pa., he had resided in the Tonawandas the past 57 years. He was a painting contractor. A member of Electric City Lodge, I.O.O.F.; Tonawandas Aerie, No. 1411, and Tonawandas Post, American Legion, he leaves his mother, Mrs. Hattie Ames, and a sister, Mrs. Nettie Fales, of North Tonawanda. Rites will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Hilliard Funeral Home, 147 Delaware street. Burial will be in Elmlawn. The Rev. Craig W. Schwartz will officiate and Electric City lodge will be in charge.

I wonder if this Charles Van Antwerp was related to one of my grandmother's uncles, Charles Van Antwerp. His other brothers were Leslie Charles, Harry, George, and Richard Van Antwerp.

Any ideas? Leslie had a sister named Hattie
