Looking for William Hall; 1850 census in Hall Co GA lists him as a RevolS, age 97, b NC, living with a Wm Hall b ca 1804; in 1840 he lived near the younger Wm Hall, with a young male; occupation listed as manufacturing; Wm Hall the Younger was a shoemaker. No Rev pension record for the Elder.

Hi would you know if his middle name was? I am a Hall and on some family papers I got form my Dad there was a William Jasper(Pete) Hall.

I wish I knew his middle initial. As careless as Hall Co GA census takers were, I'm lucky I even have a name. Any connection of your Halls to either Hall Co GA or Marlboro Co SC? Donna

My family came to this land in 1721 first to Penn. then in 1751 to North Carolina. The Hall's had large families. My granddaddy left North Carolina and ended up in Texas. Do you know any more names of your family?
