I would like information any has regarding these surnames, expecially the Manuel, Beauregard and McCauley names. The families settled around the St. Landry Parish/Evangeline Parish Areas. The Manuel name is of the blonde spanish decent.

Anyone wishing Guillory history or families, please e-mail, I and others on the Guillory mailing list will be happy to provide these files or other info on other families we are related to.

I just saw your posting. Unfortunately, I'm in Kuwait on a job at the moment and I do not have my genealogy disks with me. If you will send an email to RFraz3407@aol.com detailing your family connections and reminding me to send you the History Files, my family will save it for me so I can send you mail when I return to the states in the first part of october.

However, if you go to Anthony Guillory's website online
there is a Guillory mailing list, and if you'll post your queries there and ask for copies of the files, there are plenty of wonderful people who will help you out.

My Great-grandfather, John B. Richmond, married a Mary L.
Guillory Cole in 1907. Mary was previously married to a John
Cole. I was recently talked to Mary's sister, Evia, who is
100 years young. We are interested in any info relating to
the Richmonds. John B.'s father was Charles N., and we
believe Charles' father was Stephen Clark Richmond. We
found John Cole's grave at Beaver Creek Cemetery, near Oakdale, and thought John B. would be there also, but no luck. Thanks, Kay
