Hi, All,

I am looking for any information, from birth to burial, of Georgia Carmelich who married Edwin Charles FREEGARD. I believe they had 8 children 1 who died in infancy at resided in St. Louis, Missouri.

I’m not related to any member of this family.

1930 is the last available census at this time.

1940 census will be released on April 2, 2012. It will take several months to transcribe all the states.


If you have ancestry.com, all the family info is available there.

This looks like her obit info according to the St. Louis Public Library

You could contact the library re: how to get a copy.

You could also order her death certificate which should indicate her parents.

Even though her obit was published in St. Louis, I can't find her in the Missouri death index....? She may have died in another state.

It's about the Freegard family, written by Georgie Anna's father-in-law. (Doesn't have anything new about her, though.)

Thanks for all your replies it's got be charging about like a headless chicken to piece all this info together.

I understand there was 8 or 9 children altogether which I am still attempting to get details on.
