I have a weathered newspaper clipping that might help someone piece together a Reinhardt ancestry.
The clipping is titled "Kansas City a Lively Town in 1870" and tells the story of one Herman F Reinhart, and his travels to Kansas City, who settled in Kansas from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Herman decided to settle in Independence MO, so he returned to Fond du Lac WI, where he married Margaret J. Brown on June 16, 1870. (no parents listed on marriage certificate for either party). On the way back toward Independence, the newlyweds passed again through Kansas City. To make a long story short, they ended up in New Chicago, later to be called Chanute.
I can find no connection (YET) to my own Reinhardt family.
If anyone is possible connected to Herman, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
