Would appreciate any info on the families Katherine Dineen b.1836 and John Buckley b. 1819 in Kerry, Ireland. They married in Ireland and immigrated to the U.S. They eventually settled in Iowa. They had 6 children that I know of James, Katherine, John, William, Ellen and Michael. Can't seem to trace back any farther than the parents.

None of those names match up with any of my Buckleys, they settled in the Clayton county area.

I have distant Dineen- Buckley connection but looks like a generation before yours.

Mary Dineen sister of Dennis Dineen 1800 - ???? married an Owen Buckley of Knocknacopple.

Dennis was my gg grandfather who was son of Tadhg who married Mary Moynihan in the late 1700s. Taadhg was son of Cormac Dineen from the Bandon district.

Dennis had brother Charles who married Kit Murname or Warren and there was another sister who I'm trying to track who married a Ryan of Ballycullen.

Regards...Gerald
