My grandfather, Klaas Ganseveld, came from the Netherlands to Kanawha, Wright County, Iowa. He was born in Wirdum, Gronigen, Netherlands. He had a brother, Pieter who was born about 1862. Their father was Wiert Ganzeveld, do you know if this is the same Peter...he would be my Great Uncle if he is the same person......

Doing research for my husband's side of the family. Klaas Ganseveld comes up as a relative of my husband's grandmother. Got all my information from Rootsweb linking under the surname Olson. Klaas daughter Anna is my husband's grandmother's mom.
