Looking for any information on a James Allen Ferrel, b. abt. 1908, Lyons, Vigo, Indianna. Fathers name William ( from what I can make out ) married a Hurchens from Riley, Ind. Cannot find any birth records forJames A. or marriage records for parents. Have hit the wall, so to speak. Can anyone tell me if there are school records, and what the names of the school would be in Lyons, and who I would contact to find out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Anita Ferrel Rugwellrel Rugwell

Riley township, Vigo county Indiana. I am researching my Wyeth/Lewis/Ballew lines in Riley. I just happened to run across the LEE family in my search and saw in marriage records that Nathaniel Lee married Anna FERRELL. According to the 1850 census, she appears to have been born abt 1815 in OHIO..... Hope this helps...Diana Ballew

In gg grandfather time, we had a Carpenter daughter marry a Ferrel
Mary Amanda Carpenter, b 1843, d 1916
m Wm Henry Harrison Ferrel, b 1843, d 1916
Suddenly I question the dates - both born and died in the same year? Could be true. Are these your Ferrels?
