My great-grandfather, Andrew Evan Mcewan, husband of Letitia Mcewan moved to Panama in the early 1900's (1910-15) where they gave birth to my grandmother Helen Humes nee Mcewan. They then moved to Cuba for a while and then to the Bahamas, where i presently live. If there are any Mcewans or a family friend surnamed Lagranade, or Louison, please write and update me.

Growing up in Concord, Grenada, I was given to understand that I was related to the McEwens. Most of my understanding of family ties came from my father who died in 1969 at age 98. A family member, named Felicity, died at 111 in 1996. she was able to fill me in on much of our family history at the time of the family reunion in 1995

There seem to be quite a lot of McEwens in Grenada. Mine was David McEwen who married Sophia Maria Palmer in 1801 and among his children were Sarah and Samuel. However from other liasons there were many others. Can anyone come up with names like James, Thomas or a family tree that contain these names?

Hello,

I am not sure if your family has a connection to Grenada, West Indies, but my great-grandmother's maiden name is Louison and the family continues to be very prominent in Grenada. If the connection is in Grenada please let me know and I can provide you with more information.

Regards,

Karien
