I was born June 10, 1947 to Barbara Daughenbaugh.
She was the daughter of Blanche and Herschel Daughenbaugh.
I was given up for adoption in October of 1947.
My birth name was June Daughenbaugh.
I have records showing my grandmother and grandfather
lived in Larned,Kansas on Route 2 at the time of my birth.

I believe my mother lived in Lerned, Kansas (don't know if the spelling is correct) around Great Bend.

Seth...I've been tryng to reach an Elaine Ford who noted that she was the daughter of Barbara Daughenbaugh who was given up for adoption in October 1947. I beleive that this is the same Barbara Daughenbaugh that I am also looking for. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you are still out there...I'm looking for your mother and her descendants. If I'm right, Barbara, your mother, was married to Billy Selsor....parents Bertha Salmans and Wes Selsor, my great aunt and uncle. My granny Marlett (Della Salmans Marlett) and most of the family lived in Larned or outside Burdett and Hanston Kansas area forever. I'm trying to update the Salmans family genealogy. I have a number of pictures of Barbara, but have not been able to find her or descendants. Please contact me if you get this.

My mom's family is from Larned. Her mother's maiden name was Lucille Daughenbaugh. I think her mother's dad's name was Carl Daughenbaugh. Carl was shot and died before my mother was born so I don't know much about that part of the family.
