Surnames: Lazauskas, Plioplys
After years of searching, I have finally located my ancestors Naturalization papers...most importantly, where they were born.

Could anyone recommend a Lithuanian genealogist or genealogy service? Please post here or email me at SMahkovec@aol.com

Thank you,
Scott

Scott,

I can recommend Laimonas Gryva as a researcher.

What is the location in Lithuania that you found them being born?

Thank you Tom!

My great grandfather Anthony Lazauskas was born in Baragine. It is a very small village north east of Marijampole.

The birth of my great grandmother Elena Plioplis is still a little foggy. Her naturalization papers say she was born in Petravine, while Anthony's papers indicate the village was Yelanka. I can't find either village, but I'm hoping a researcher can sort it out.
