Need help translating German headstone inscription

While visiting Alma, WI, I took many photos in the Tell Cemetery. I do not speak German so need help with this headstone. I've read it to the best of my ability:

Hier ruhl in friden
ANNA
Guttin von
A. JEKLIN
gee den
16 Maiz 1856
gest den
7 Jan. 1896
Was der To_ _?
Ver_migl? dus G_ _ _?

I think it reads:
"Here rest(s) in peace"
ANNA
Wife of
A. Jeklin
born on
16 March 1856
died on
7 January 1896
???
???"

The tombstone was faint toward the bottom and hard to read even with a high resolution photo. I'd appreciate any help on the last two lines.

Try your local high school or college, they usually have foreign language classes. Might be an interesting lesson for the class.
Also, the library might have german/english dictionaries.
There might also be local people in your area that might know the language, check with your senior citizens group.

This is what it translated to:

The last lines are:
Was der Tod
getrennt
vereinigt das Grab
(What death seperates, merges the grave)

The slogan means "what the death has separated, combined the grave"
