Seeing as I was told that my ancestors were living in Hancock,MA sometime between 1780-1815. I was looking for any infomation on a possible marriage of Esek Baker. He was born in 1779 in RI. Unfortunately, all I have is his wife's first name, Ruth, and I am not sure this was his first wife.
They're son, Harvey N was born in 1805 in MA. But I don't have a location.

If you are still looking I may be able to help. Esek Baker is in my line. He was born in RI and moved to Shutesbury MA having many children among them being Jonathan S., Dwight E. and others. There was about the same time the appearance of an Esek in the Hancock/Lanesboro Ma area but it is a different person than the Esek from Abial Baker and Louisa Swan of RI. It was not uncommon in that time for siblings to each give the same name to a child so two brothers may each have a son named Esek. These two may have been cousins. Please pass any information you have to me and I will do the same.
