My dad Gordon Pratt Cutler was born in 1911 in Arlington, Mass,(?). He has told me that there were three brothers who came to Mass. in 1640 from England, I think Boston, England. At least one of them went up to Vermont, I don't know about the other one. I will be seeing him in July and can pump him for informantion regarding his parents, both dead, and other relatives. There is also a Finny or Phinny (?) family relatd to us some how. I wish I had paid more attention when I was a kid. He is still of sound mind so getting more backround will not be too difficult.
If I can help anyone out there please email me with your requests.

Perhaps you can help me. I am looking for a man who was my platoon leader in Vietnam. All I know about him is that he had a Mass. accent and said his family was in the newspaper business. He also stated that his grandfather won the Noble Prize for something. I don't know if he was pulling my leg or not. The last I saw him he was shot four times in the legs and was med-evaced. I cared for him and assumed his command. This is just a shot in the dark. He's probably about fifty-five years old. Thank you so much. Andrew F. Lewandowski, Sgt.USMC Ret.

Andy Sorry I can't help you. My brother was over there a couple of times with the Army. Don't know of any of my Cutlers running/owning a news paper or winning a Noble prize. Good luck in your search. I did 26 years with the Army but missed that war.

Looking for wife, siblings, children of Lyman Cutler b. 2-23-1794 in Dover Plains, Ulster Co., NY
He had a daughter Sarah who married a Patmore, a gt grandfather of mine.
I've traced Lyman back to father, a James Cutler b. 5-21-1605 Sproughton, England through a sonThomas who was b. in Watertown, Mass in 1648.
Would like to share my Cutler info. Anxious to hear if James was one of the three your father remembers.

Hi, I can't find any information about my grandfather Charles Sherman Cutler. My parents are dead as well as my fathers parents. all i know of my grandfather is that he was born in West Virginia in 1886 or 1887 and died in 1974. I vaguely remember stories that his mother died when he was very young, about 18 months old, and that he had a brother (James????) who I think lived in Wheeling WV. I would love to know about my ancestral line. do you have any ideas?
thanks,
Debbie
