I am looking for a William, Solomon and Elizabeth Dalaba. Elizabeth's married name is Godspeed. My grandfathers name was Arthur E Dalaba. It is said that his fathers name was Henry. Arthur was born in Sweden Valley Pa in 11-20-1892 married Ida Jeanette Sabin the tree before my grand father seems to go dead as if records were burned or not recorded. I am trying to build a family tree. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi Sara Im having trouble finding Arthur Ernest Dalaba's parentage. All I can find out is his mothers name was Mary and his father was Henry. Its like a loss of records before my great grandfather theres no surname origin, there are other spellings. There is William Solomon and Elizabeth. Where did they come from and when. I am at a dead end. I've checked out the site and many others. I haven't had much luck!

Solomon Dalaba was born August 26, 1852 and he died November 1924 in Cogan House, Pa
Great Grandmother is Marie Marvin born September 6, 1868 and died November 27, 1925
Ida Jeanette Sabins was born on August 14, 1901 in Coneville, Pa and died February 1965 in Cuba. She is buried in the Cuba Cemetary
Great Grandfather is Almond Sabins and Great Grandmother is Linna Jeffers

Do you know if your Solomon Henry Dalaba is the one who married Maria Marvin in Aug 1884? I found marriage records of 2 of their daughters in Allegany Co, NY, but I'm trying to find out if Marie Marvin is the daughter of Jonathan Marvin and Mary E. Mead. I found Jonathan and Mary in the 1880 census in Hebron, Potter Co, PA w/ their sons, William Orin and Frederick S, but I'm unsure if there is a connection as suggested by another posting I saw. Do you know this line well? I would be cousins w/ anyone who descends from Jonathan Marvin and Mary E Mead.
