Do you have Darius Manley in your line? He was married in Monroe County, WI to my gggrandmother in 1864. They moved to the Dakota Territory and lived in a sod home. The Manleys from their line still live in western MN. Regards, Connie

I just checked my file and don't have a Darius, but, then, I don't have a whole lot of information on that line except for the ones who settled in southeastern Minnesota in the county of Anoka, next to Minneapolis/St. Paul. I would like to share what you have, however. E-mail ahogan@infi.net. What county in Ireland did they come from? Have you found them in various censuses? If not, perhaps I can look some up for you. Thanks.

Re: MANLEY>IRELAND>MASSACHUSETTS>MINNESOTA
Hi Ann, I'm looking for family of my grandmother's. Her name was helen Manley m. Julian Perkins Farnam. I believe her father to be Anthony Manley b.Minnesota, his father (?)was born in Illinois, his mother was born in Ireland. He married a gal from Ireland, name is either Catherine (last name ?) or Anna Glasgow. I know, they couldn't be much different, huh. Catherine b.1856 Immigrated here in 1883. They lived in Minnesota and had four children. Mary b.abt.1889, Helen(my g.mother)b.abt.1891 d.1982, Martin b.abt.1893, and Hanora b.abt.1899. Any help would sure be appreciated. I've done other sides of my family but am dead ended here with nothing for my dear grandma (grammy). Thank you Juli

This is what I have found in an abbreviated version: Descendants of Michael Manley 1 Michael Manley .. +Ellen Buckley ........ 2 Anthony F Manley 1864 - 1931 ............ +Catherine ? 1857 - 1930 ................... 3 Dominick Manley 1887 - 1900 ................... 3 Mary Manley 1889 - 1900 ................... 3 Helen Manley 1891 - 1900 ................... 3 Martin Manley 1893 - 1900 ................... 3 Honora Manley 1898 - 1900 ................... 3 Lenore G Manley 1900 - 1920
Ellen Buckley was born in Ill but Michael was born in Ireland, I believe. There were apparently more children than the ones you mention. Does this look like what your looking for? (Note: Ignore the death dates here--they are incorrect--odd software glitch.)

I am the granddaughter of his daughter Kathryn Bridget Manley Tuttle, born 1909 died 1988. I can give you more detailed information on this line if you wish.

Re: MANLEY>IRELAND>MASSACHUSETTS>MINNESOTA
I would love more details abt your family. Also, were you aware that there is a Munnelly/Manley family reunion in Co. Mayo this summer? Your family may be interested in going. You can write me at katsjay2@bellsouth.net or go to www.munnellysofcountymayo.com. Kathy
