Surnames: Dunham, Griffith
George Washington Dunham was an early settler of Pike County, Missouri, the eldest son of Amos and Sally Dunham, who moved to Pike County from Montgomery County, KY about 1826. G.W. married Nancy Griffith in 1827 in Pike Co. MO.
G.W. and Amos are listed side by side in the 1830 census. G.W. alone is mentioned in the 1840 Census for Pike County. G.W. had apparently died by 1850, as his wife Nancy is listed as head of household in 1850 Pike County, Census.

I would be interested in communicating with any G.W. descendents.

Thanks, Tom Berg, Ventura, California

I did indeed come across and did contact descendents of S. A. Dunham, once I figured out he had gone sourth and settled in Arkansas. He was hard to find, but turned out to have left a lot of children. Contact me directly and I will provide links to info.
