Hi Darlene,
My Kaczmareks were from Poland at one time. I am guessing that they immigrated in the mid 1800's. And settled in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. I don't have any thing
to prove that yet excedept that I do know they were Polish and
the record stating that Michael was born abt 1872 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I just recieved this information so I haven't had a chance to look further into this information. Or into Michaels parents. Thanks Donna

Just found an addition to this: Neopucena Kaczmarek m Johann/John Tarka. Johann Tarka and his wife Neopucena Kaczmarek were godparents to two of of my g-g grandparents children (Veronika and Josepha Labijak/Labiak). The Labijaks lived in Iwno and Tarkas in Siekierki (near Posen/Poznan, Poland). The Labiaks moved to MI, by way of Baltimore. My g-g-grandma's maiden name was Kaczmarek, so they are probably related. I'd appreciate any information that might connect to them.
