whoops.... You can view it at most MAJOR libraries. (Especially on the East Coast and in Chicago.) Someone on one of these forum groups indicated that the Morman Centers have it on film. You can also buy your own set from Higginson Book Company. They have a web site or you can call: 978-745-7170

Thanks for the info, we were at the Family History center in SLC twice this year, but hadn't got quite that far in the "tree" Plan on trying to go to one here in Tucson while we are here for the winter. Is Wentworth in your tree?

Good luck in your searches.... My GGgrandfather - Edwin Wentworth is in the book. We are descended from Shubael - going way back to Elder William. My maiden name is Wentworth.

Am back to Cap't John Heardworth born 23 Feb 1736 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine and married to Sarah Bartlet . Found a cousin through this site that has a list of ancestors further back, but haven't looked at it yet. How far back do you go? Sarah Bradford Wentworth born 17 Dec 1831 in Cythiana, KY is my husbands gg grandmother on his paternal grandmothers side. We are probably related in some distant way!

The Wentworth Genealogy books go wwwaaayyyy back to England in the 1000's. The book credits Elder William Wentworth as the 'father' of lots of Wentworths born in America. I descend from him through: Elder William, John, Shubael, James, Elijah, Enos, Edwin, Ernest, Ernest Ross, Michael, and ME. For us to get a clear match, we would need to probably go all the to William's children based on the years you are mentioning. It's easy to do. I have met lots of 'cousins' on the internet.
