Looking for family sheets of Andrew B Roberts of Canayoharie, New York, moved to Ionia, Michigan then to Wisconsin in the 1870's.

Wanting to see if this Andrew is the son of Eliacum and Margaret Bullock Roberts of Montgomery County, New York?

In the 1870 Clinton, Rock Co WI census it lists:

Andrew (46) listed as Carpenter with New York birthplace
Hester (or Esther) 44
Lydia (20)
Annie (18)
Jessie A (15)
James B (13)
Marietta (11)
Charles (8)
George (7)
Frank (2)

In the 1900 census, Andrew is listed as living with son, George (38), Effie (18), Mary (baby) and Andrew (79).

Andrew Brounell Roberts was born to Eliacum Roberts who was born in NY. Mother unk. Andrew born in Canayoharie, NY on 3-18-1820. Died 6-23-1904 in Clinton WI od heart failure. Says he served in Civil War as a carpenter. Buried in Clinton Cemetery.
Wife Hester L Roberts Died 7-1-1891. Documented in Vol2 page 254. Parents unk, Born in Utica NY on 10-28-1824. Died of Ovarian cancer. Buried Clinton Cemetery. Jesse Ambrose married Nettie Christman on 12-27-1877 and appears to have died 1-15-1935, however I did not look at the documents at Rock Co.

How wonderful to receive your reply. This is so helpful as we have a birthdate difference from 1870 Rock Co WI census and the 1850 Canayoharie NY census.

The correct spelling for the town is "CANAJOHARIE" with a "J."
