Pedro Acencio Perea was related to my husband and according to my records married (unknown first name) Valverde. Pedro
Jose Perea, his son, is my husband's antecedent. Our Perea
heritage was strong in Bernalillo County and perhaps we can
exchange information. I have put together a three volume gen-eology and history of the family, and have a number of old photographs taken of the Perea family back in the 1800's. In fact, I have a photo of Pedro Acencio Perea's son, Pedro Jose
Perea, born about 1780 in Corrales, New Mexico. Would appre-ciate any information and would share any I have at a cost of
7 cents per sheet and will pay the same. I do not have my work on the computer having done all the original work on a
word processor and then printing it at a print shop. Jan.

Hi Jan! I responded to a post on the Perea family because I
lived in Algodones/Bernalillo/Corrales(when it was called Sandoval!)and know many people in Sandoval County..The person that would appreciate your response, the one I responded to is:Renetta Perea, email renperea@yahoo.com. She has a website you must check out. http://home.att.net/~renperea. I have found several Pereas in cemeteries and would send that info to you if you wish.
Renetta has Pedro Acencio Perea wifes maiden name as Ana Maria Josefa Velarde(not Valverde). Pat

Jan,
Thank you for your response. An exchange of information sounds great. A lot of my ancestors are from the Bernalillo county area also. Which child of Jose Perea is your husband related to? I look forward to hearing from you,

Jan,
Hello, I read your message in the Bernalillo County NM Queries regarding the Perea family. My family is from Corrales, New Mexico. I'm interested in any of the information you have collected. How many pages are you talking about? I do not have much information on the Perea side of my family. My grandfather's name was Jose Maximiano Perea (we called him Grandpa Max) and my grandmother's name was Maria Rita (Griego) Perea (we called her Grandma Rita.) They are both buried at the Corrales Cemetery by the old San Ysidro Catholic Church. Please contact me at Badnews94@msn.com if you are interested in sharing information. Thanks.

Hi, my grandparents were Grandpa Max and Grandma Rita Griego Perea, lived in Corrales and are buried in Corrales. My father was Tranquilino Griego, I am interested in any and all information you could provide concerning Grandpa Max and Grandma Rita. Who were your parents and did we ever meet.? I was quite excited to find your information, as I have been looking for information concerning my grandparents and relatives I have never met. I live in Aztec NM., and would love to hear from you. Please email: aparnold@email.com.

Pedro Acencio Perea's wife was Ana Maria Josefa Velarde. Unfortunately that is all the info I have on her.
