I'm looking for information on my gr-gr-grandmother, Annie Bradsher. She was born around July 1876, and married Robert H. Coble of Alamance County, NC. She had three children; Ralph, Lou Etta, and another son. I am looking for any information possible. Her parents names especially. Thanks in advance.

Surnames: Bradsher, Coble
I went to the State Archives last week and looked up the Annie Coble who listed at ancestry.com who was born in about 1876/1877. There were two, but one died in 1927, so she does not match the information you gave me in the past. The Annie Coble who matched your ggma's age was an Allred, not Bradsher. Is it possible that she had a first marriage to a Bradsher?

My correct e-mail is bookish42@earthlink.net

Thanks to Ancestry.com which has recently digitized N.C. death certificates from 1909-1975, I found the death certificate for Mrs. Coble. She was the daughter of James Oliver Bradsher and Missouri Grubbs, born in Person Co., NC, 14 July 1876 and died in Barbecue Twp., Harnett Co., NC on 12 Apr 1950. She was buried at Lemon Springs Methodist Church in Lee Co., NC. The informant was Mrs. Lou Fore.

I am so tickled to finally be able to name her parents. She was called Annie Liz by her family. One person had her name as Amiliz.
