i found this trunk at an yard sale in indep mo the guy who sold it to me told me he bought it at an public storage auction it was on display and had been picked through a little but most is still intact please contact me with names to confirm that it belongs to you thankyou for your time

In what state did you buy the trunk or where are the materials in it from. My Calhoons lived in Graves Co., KY from the ealy 1900's and then in Mississippi CO., MO. and then in Hempstead Co., AR.Are the names in the trunk spelled Calhoun or Calhoon.I would like to know more about the items please. hello Miss Betty the pictures and some other items i obtained with the trunk are about the 1800 s Please tell me some of the names in your family history the name is spelled Calhoon hope that this helps the contents are letters pictures things like that I purchased this trunk at a yard sale in Mo. My guess is that it has been picked over any valuables but it is still rich in pictures and letters Yours amythistwings

(Mary died Green Co. & David Risen & some children were
later in Mo.)
