I have done a lot of research on the Milano families of Pietraperzia (Francesco & Filippo) who came to Philadelphia and Boston respectively. I believe that others of this family from Pietraperzia, Sicily, also came to America, but as of yet have had no luck. Anywhere out there researching Milano families from Sicily? From Pietraperzia?

I heard of this story from my grandmother about Two immigrants from Sicily. Both joined the US Army and was deployed to the Philippine Islands around 1910 One of them had a son, whose name is Gabino Milano and he was abandoned.

Pls send me an e mail if you heard of any Milano being deployed to the Philippines around 1910.

I'm attempting to research a grandfather, Angelo Milano approx. 1888-1954, who came to the East-coast, then ultimately to Toledo Ohio, from a small village near palermo Sicily. (Not much luck so-far)
