I recently found pictures of the still standing "The Pitner House" in Newtown, PA. The pic's came from the Historic American Building Survey. The details stated it was built around 1780, but litle other detials were available. I understand that a John Pitner was born at near by Penns Manor in 1755 to Hendrey and Deborah Pitner, But I can't find any other details about these families other than the 1790 and later census. Any help on these families or the home would be helpful. If you want the Pitner home pictures I can post the link. Let me know.

I would be interested in seeing the Pitner house. Also interested in John Pitner, born Penn's Landing. I am a descendant of John Pitner and have extensive family information on Pitners who migrated south. Willing to share information and email addresses.
