Saw your message. My aunt Anna was doing research on her mother's side before she died and didn't complete. Her maternal grandfather was William Schaner (Shaner-Schoenherr). His father was Ernest Schoenherr and is buried in Chaffee, ND. Ther was mention of an a sister, Amelia married to a Michael Kees. There was also mention of brothers Herman, Charley and Julius. Would this be any relation? I've been trying to piece together her typing and stories. Haven't had much luck in verifying.

I'm still doing research on my mom's side of the family. Her dad William Schaner came from Minnesota and his dad is Earnest Schoenherr and is buried at Chaffee, ND If there is anyone that is doing info or history on these, I would appreciate.
