I am trying to verify the marriage of Thomas Carr and Elizabeth, who deeded land to Palmer Critchfield, Nov. 27, 1800, in Deed Book 1, Page 637, I believe they are the parents of Elder Thomas Carr my ggggrandfather who was born in Grayson Co. Va May 17, 1804. Anyone who has any information on these Carr please contact me. Thanks, Anne Buckner

Dear Anne,
I have been trying to find ancestors beyond Elder Thomas Carr also. You are evidently more experienced than I in the art of genealogy.
Elder Thomas Carr is my gggrandfather. I am from the line of William Wilborn Carr, ggrandfather, and John Kenley Carr, grandfather, Jesse Paul Carr, father.
I am Jaquetta Estella Carr Turner. I was born in Yakima, WA on 10-May-1935.
John Kenley Carr moved to the Washington area after his children's births. My father, Jesse P Carr was killed in a trucking accident when I was 5 years old.
John Kenley Carr's wife and children have all died, as well as he. So the Carr name died out with the death of my father, as he only had 3 daughters.
The only info I have on Elder Thomas Carr's father is: Thomas Carr, b. Abt 1778 Grayson Co, VA and wife Elizabeth b. Abt 1782 Grayson Co, VA.
I live in Jerome, Idaho, near Twin Falls, Idaho.
The grandchildren of John Kenley Carr are holding a family reunion for the Carr family on July 9 in Maple Valley, Washington, near Renton, WA. This is the first one we have had, so mainly want to get all of our first cousins together, as we are all growing older. 14 girls and 2 boys.
I know this is alot of info, but would also like to hear from you about your family and how we are related. And where you live.
Waiting for your reply, Jaquetta
