I have searched four cemeterys in PA County for the grave of Mary Sue Doudge/Dozier. Her first husband was Robert Stuart Smith and her second husband was ??? LaBarrer (my great grandfather). She and LaBarrer died in 1902, leaving two children behind (one of them was my grandfather, Fillmore LaBarrer). I know some of the Dozier graves are in the Moyack area, but I am curious as to whether you have located any in Knotts Island? The name may be spelled Dauge, Dague, Doudge or Dozier. Or, she may be burried somewhere with her "Smith" children.

My files show the following:

Alexander C. Brown (Sept. 15, 1820 - April 1, 1882) was the son of Enoch and Elizabeth Scott Brown.
Enoch & Elizabeth were married on May 4, 1818.

His first wife was Caroline Woodhouse (b. 1818, d. April 6, 1856) daughter of Fanny Woodhouse.

His second wife was Martha Ann Burgess (March 28, 1835 - July 6, 1894) married on June 4, 1857 by Rev. H. H. Banks. She was the daughter of James & Mary "Polly" S. McCaul Burgess. James & Mary were married Jan. 6, 1821.

He had four children by each wife.
Alexander, his wives and several children are buried at the Brown Family Cemetery, 1241 Old Clubhouse Rd.
