I am also looking for info on the Hope ship,
but I thought it came from Germany to the east
coast. I am also looking for info on the
Rosanna ship. Any help would be appreciated.

I think there may be more than one Hope ship. I plan to do some research in Windsor, Ont. after easter. Will be glad to share what I find. The one I am looking for left England or Ireland in 1851 headed for Canada with my great great grandparents William and Mary Corr and their two daughters who were headed for Fort malden, Ontario.

Carr / Kerr / Corr
I also have been looking for family sailing from Ireland in 1851 on the "Hope" for Fort Malden. I am not sure if William and Mary Corr where relatives, but in church records they always had their children at the same time.
I am looking for John Carr (Kerr, Corr) and his wife Mary Anne McMullen. They came over with 1 son John about 5 years and possibly two younger children a son and daughter.
I would love to solve this. It will open so many doors.
