I am a Gardepy. There doesn't seem to be many of this spelling, and I'm hoping to get back further in the line, as mine comes to a dead end pretty quick. There is no one alive in my line that remembers the original spelling of the last name. My grandfather is Richard S. Gardepy who died in 1983, his father was Wilfred who died in 1975. My dad as well as his father grew up in the Iron Mountain area, My great grandfather was from Minnisota and later died in Iron Mountain. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
